Locust Valley Market was opened in August of 2009 by David
Mandell, a third generation local grocer. The store was previously
inhabited by Gristedes
but sat vacant for 5 years. Our intention has been to serve the Locust Valley community
as their go to store for all their grocery needs.
We stock only the freshest produce and cut fruits and veggies.
We have a gourmet deli and a chef on staff to make delicious store made salads, entrées, and grab and go dinners.
We make store made soups ,rotisserie chickens and we have a hot soup bar.
We have a large selection of cheeses, dips, crackers and lots of bakery sweets
to choose from. We also do Catering for any occasion.
We have a full meat department with butchers on site and offer
USDA choice or better on popular cuts. We carry Bell & Evans all natural chicken as well as many other
great brands. The rest of the store is packed with your favorite brands at good prices
as well as many unique and hard to find items. We carry a full line of dairy,
frozen and groceries. Home delivery is our specialty along with fast and friendly service.
